Nela Filimon is Serra i Húnter Associate Professor in Marketing and Market Research, and joined the Department of Business in 2018. She holds a PhD in Economics from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, a MS in Economics and Business from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a Master of Arts in Economics (Joint title from CEU & New York University). In more than twenty years at UdG, she acquired management experience in positions such as Academic Secretary of the Economics Department and Coordinator of the Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management (FCEE), among others. Her teaching experience was recognised with four quinquenios. In terms of research interests, she works on issues related to consumer behaviour and marketing strategies, cultural and creative industries, ICTs and welbeing, consumption and sociocultural determinants, mainly with quantitative research methods. Recently, she started working on sustainability and CSR in the tourism and food industries. She holds two research assessment periods (sexenios) and her work was published in international journals and books. She participated in competitive projects, numerous national and international congreses, and is currently serving in the editorial board of several national and international journals (see my ORCID profile). In 2017 she was granted the Literati Outstanding Reviewer Award (Emerald Publishing) for Arts and the Market journal.
