The Social Commitment Unit is a service aimed at the entire university community that integrates seven fundamental areas in which to develop good citizenship. It protects and promotes values such as health, sustainability and gender equality. In turn, it conducts volunteering and cooperation activities for development. As part of this commitment to society, it supports people with disabilities and fosters access to an inclusive, quality education for all, offering training programmes for the over-50s.
The UdG’s Social Commitment and Professional Guidance Unit provides careers advice and information on work placements in companies and job vacancies, not just for students sitting their studies but also for graduates in search of a job that matches their qualifications.
