Biography

With a PhD in Law from the University of Girona, where she also graduated, she is a senior lecturer in Procedural Law in the Faculty of Law.She is also a researcher at the Department of Public Law and the Centre for Advanced Studies of the Process and Justice at the UdG (CEAPJ). 

His research has focused on protecting victims of crimes, collective action and mass litigation, popular action, alternative means of dispute resolution (mediation, restorative justice and others), the fundamental right to effective guardianship, proof and legal process and the digitalisation of the administration of justice. She is the author of several scientific research studies, including 5 monographs, more than 20 journal articles and 28 book chapters. 

She has participated in more than 15 national and European projects, in some as principal investigator. The most recent one was on the Digital Transition of Justice, funded by European Next Generation funds. She has also formed part of six consolidated research groups (SGR), the most recent being on Law, the Internet and Digital Transformation (DITD), as well as participating in a Jean Monnet Module in the Erasmus + programme.

She also has experience in management at the University of Girona, where she has served as secretary and vice-dean in the Faculty of Law, director of the Department of Public Law, attached to the General Secretariat, and vice-rector of Statutory Rollout and Regulations at the UdG.
