Biography

Holder of a bachelor's degree in Law and a PhD in Financial and Tax Law from the University of Girona, he is a full professor of Financial and Tax Law at the Faculty of Law, where he teaches several bachelor's degrees and master's programmes. 

As a researcher at the Department of Public Law, his research focuses mainly on taxation in the field of housing, as an instrument for guaranteeing the right to housing, ensuring the social function of the housing stock, and promoting sustainability. In this context, he has analysed in particular the tax mechanisms aimed at mobilising vacant housing and promoting affordable housing.He also conducts research into the financial sustainability of local tax offices, the taxation of the fast-fashion sector and the funding of Urban Economic Promotion Areas. 

In the field of academic management, he has worked as a deputy rector for Electronic Administration and Digital Transformation and has coordinated the Master’s in Administrative Management and served as secretary of the Department of Public Law.
