Teaching is concentrated in the faculties and schools, and the departments deal with research, which is also conducted by institutes and chairs, at the same time responsible for knowledge promotion.
The objectives of this protocol are first to prevent violence and harassment for reasons of sex, gender or sexuality among the members of the university community, and second to establish an action procedure to detect situations of violence and harassment, investigate them, propose actions to resolve them (directed at both care for victims and actions aimed at the presumed harassers and the environment) and, where necessary, to open disciplinary procedures.
The university area Protocol guide generally aims to be a core document for universities, within the framework of their autonomy, in the application of due diligence for all operations and in the eradication of any demonstration of misogynist violence, sexual harassment and gender harassment, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, including institutional violence. Therefore, this document is not a legal text, but a guide for meeting the universities’ legal duties.
Awareness-raising: roll-ups have been installed in the Faculties, tablecloths for campus restaurants and new stickers for the toilets and the UdG various services.
