    Assessment and Grading

    Assessment activities:

Description of the activity Assessment Activity % Remediable subject
Capacity for Autonomous Learning and Team Management. Relate and use the learned content, individually or in groups. Individual Exercices. Real capacity to achieve an aim or result of specific context. 0 No
Documentary Research of the Preliminary Project. Study and documentary research of the themes and content that will determine the future transmedia application, applying research methodologies. Individual Exercices. Real capacity to achieve an aim or result of specific context. 10 No
Creative Proposal. Research, experimentation, and creation of iconographic material for the future transmedia application. (Formats: photography, graphic material, and/or video). Supports: blogs, television, social networks, video games, books, performance, etc. Individual Exercices. Real capacity to achieve an aim or result of specific context. 10 No
Presentation of the Report, Script, and Briefing of the Transmedia Project. Formulate narrative, artistic, and technical resources to meet the expected quality objectives and the final usefulness of the product. Individual Exercices. Real capacity to achieve an aim or result of specific context. 15 No
Teamwork. Every learning process needs to be evaluated to verify the degree of compliance and the effectiveness of the process. Be capable of joining an interdisciplinary work team by assuming responsibilities, contributing tasks, or defining the necessary solutions to achieve the pre-established objectives. 10 No
Co-evaluation. Evaluation towards improvement. Degree of individual involvement in the team activity. Co-evaluation applies a complementary protocol to more precisely detect the degree of individual involvement in group activities. Therefore, each group member will evaluate the participation of others involved in the team work. This grade will range from 0 to 10, from failing (below 5) to excellent. It should be noted that an insufficient grade in the co-evaluation will reduce the practical work grade (team work) by 50%. 10 No
Presentation of Transmedia Applications. Design of the operational interface. Interactive graphic and/or audiovisual proposal of the multimedia/transmedia application. At least 50% of the project. Delivery of the production script with the feasibility report (technical script). Update of the content of the report, creativity, and documentary research. Be capable of joining an interdisciplinary work team by assuming responsibilities, contributing tasks, or defining the necessary solutions to achieve the pre-established objectives. 25 No
Self-evaluation / Attitudinal Factors. Learning is not achieved without active and committed participation from the learner. Be capable of joining an interdisciplinary work team. 10 No
Evaluation Test. General knowledge and problem-solving. Verify "the capacity for assimilation" of reflective, conceptual, and critical thinking content. 10 No

    Grading

All submissions must include the individual task performed along with a brief description thereof.

The final course grade includes an exam, which must be scored 4 or higher to be averaged with practical work grades. Exam attendance is optional if the final average grade is above 6.5.

The overall grade for the subject is calculated on a total score of 10 points.

Informal exercises influence the assessment of the attitudinal section. These exercises are related to attitudes of attention and learning development during teaching sessions.

Co-evaluation applies a complementary protocol to more accurately detect the degree of individual involvement within group activities. Therefore, each group member will assess the participation of others involved in teamwork. This grade will range from 0 to 10, with a fail below 5 and excellent above.

It should be noted that a grade deemed insufficient in co-evaluation results in a 50% deduction from the practical work grades developed within the framework of teamwork. All those affected with a grade up to 6 must take the exam.

Assessment is individual, even if there are activities developed jointly within a work team. Teamwork assignments must include an annex with minutes (work sessions) and a report related to the tasks accomplished.

There will be individual assignments and team exercises. Groups will consist of a minimum of 5 members and a maximum of 7. Some exercises require public presentation.

Submissions beyond the agreed-upon deadline will be rejected.

Students who do not have a Presentation Grade for their submissions will not be allowed to take the exam.

Specific criteria for the "No show" grade:
Students who do not have a Presentation Grade for their assignments will not be allowed to take the exam and therefore will be marked as Not Presented. They will be marked as Not Presented for the subject if the sum of the total percentages of tests or exams they have taken is less than 25%. Absence from teaching sessions exceeding 50% will be marked as Not Presented.

    Single Assessment:
Single assessment is not applicable because the teaching activity is based on collaborative learning methodology.
The classroom is organized into specialized work teams that perform differentiated tasks, with each member having specific responsibilities within the framework of collaborative work. Positive interdependence in tasks and face-to-face interaction are crucial in the dynamics of teams to achieve common outcomes.

    Minimum requirements to pass:
To pass the subject, a minimum grade of 5.0 is required.

    Mentorship

To facilitate the tutoring process, students have, on Intreram, the ability to communicate and request appointments on the available calendar.

    Communication and interaction with students

It is important that teaching activities are accompanied by appropriate feedback from the faculty, which should be prompt enough for students to adjust their learning process. In this case, the activity is mainly conducted in person and takes place with the student's own work team.

    Remarks

Starting from point 0.2 "Application Ideation," the program's content will not be delivered sequentially. Content dissemination will adapt to the organic development of the actual project and the selected theme.

The educational content has a strong practical emphasis. Therefore, learning methodologies align with current industry practices. They are based on real-life situations and involve a series of activities structured through individual or group assignments and exercises.

For the development of conceptual, theoretical, and practical components, the writing of a transmedia viability script is proposed under the assumption of its professional execution.

    Online Resources
Information will be provided in relation to the presentation of specific content. Due to updates, some resources will be disclosed during teaching sessions.

    Presentation of Team Assignments (Deliverable)
Group work will include digital content support.

Assignments that do not adhere to the general presentation guidelines or agreed-upon nomenclature may not be evaluated. (Example: image -Menu-name-surname.jpg). Script: Word and others in PDF.

The provided material and class notes are subject to review.

    - Presentation of Team Assignments (Deliverable)
It is necessary to document individual tasks through Moodle.
Group work will be accompanied by a USB drive, facilitating digital content. (Example: image (1x5-Menu-name-surname.jpg) Date: xx xx 20/XX
    • The printed card must include the identification of the deliverable, the date, and a visual reference.
    • Content should be organized into folders with the work's name and date. Only materials required for the evaluation of the corresponding deliverable should be presented.
    • Written assignments must include the name of the sender/group and date in a single line inserted at the bottom of the page.
    • Group assignments must be accompanied by a brief report describing each member's activity and related meeting minutes. (In some cases, the corresponding material produced by individual activity will be included).
    • Hours breakdown sheet, as well as exercise annex, is mandatory.
    • Content must be developed using the software specified for the exercise. Exceptions will be specified in advance in the work plan and during teaching sessions.
    • All instructions must be printed; handwritten submissions are excluded. (Exceptions will be indicated in due course).

Failure to meet any of the requirements outlined in these guidelines within the established deadlines may result in work being disregarded or minimum evaluation applied.
