The evaluation tools and activities of the projects will differ from one project to another. The lecturer responsible for each project will introduce and detail the evaluation activities and criteria at the beginning of the semester. However, the evaluation of the projects will be based on the following general criteria: Assessment of the project process through the students' personal and collective reflection. Students will have to collect and reflect on evidence of their own learning journey [33,3%] Assessment of the students' involvement and level of participation in the project [33,3%] Assessment of the results and impact of the project [33,3%] All these evaluation points will take into account the evaluation of the teachers, of the students themselves (both through self-evaluation and co-evaluation) and also of the final beneficiaries or users of the project, i.e. the external organisation, group or institution. Specific criteria for the "No show" grade: Each project will set a minimum level of involvement for students to participate. If students do not meet the minimum requirements, they will be considered ‘no presentat’ (absent). Single Assessment: It is not possible to implement a full single assessment system due to the specific nature of this course. In the case of students who need a single assessment option, they will be placed in the project with a participation and service option that is not face-to-face. In this case, the student will compensate for the face-to-face dimension of the service learning projects with other activities. Minimum requirements to pass: To pass the course, the student needs a mark of 5.00. Each of the projects will establish a participation minimum requirement to be evaluated.
The lecturers in charge of each project will determine the frequency and form of the meetings. In all cases, each student will have a reference lecturer.
Communication will preferably take place by e-mail or during the face-to-face meetings indicated in the calendar.
During the first semester of the academic year, a selection process will be carried out to assign students to a specific SL project. The selection scheme will take into account the students' priorities as well as quantitative and qualitative criteria.
