Activitats d'avaluació: Descripció de l'activitat Avaluació de l'activitat % Recuperable CONTINUOS AVALUATION (CA): Lab sessions and Problem solving This activity includes solving exercises and practices. All of them are continuous assessment activities with mandatory and non-retrievable attendance. Some of these activities are based on cooperative learning. - The exercise solving activity (RE) consists of solving various types of exercises using different forms of learning within the classroom. It is composed of two sections: the mandatory in class, and the mandatory and self-learning outside of class. The mandatory will be carried out in person in the classroom, while the other will be developed by the student at home. The delivery of 80% of the tasks scheduled for the RE part will allow achieving the maximum score for the activity. The total grade for this activity will represent a % of the NF and is obtained by solving and submitting exercises in class and self-learning. - _The grade for the practicals (NP) will represent a % of the NF and is obtained by carrying out the practicals in the laboratory within the stipulated time. This grade will be calculated based on two components that are added directly: the attitudinal grade in the laboratory workshop, evaluated by means of a rubric that will be made public at the beginning of the course, and the report of the same. -The grade for the partial evaluation test (PAC) will represent a % of the NF and is obtained by solving a partial test within a stipulated time. For this test, you can bring the form provided in the subject (without notations) and the calculator 30 No Global Theory Test (Prova global Teoria ,PGT) The Global Theory Test (Prova global Teoria ,PGT) is an obligatory and recoverable assistance (R). This activity represents 35% of the NF. 35 Sí Global Theory Problem (Prova global Problemes,PGP) The Prova global Problemes (Prova global Problemes ,PGP) is an obligatory and recoverable assistance (R). It is possible to carry the form corresponding to the signature and/or other documentation in paper format related to the signature. You require a minimum score of 5 to be able to be calculated NF. This activity represents 35% of the NF. 35 Sí
The activities carried out by continuous assessment must be delivered to the teacher within the time established at the beginning of the course. Once this deadline is finished, the delivery of a task will not be accepted and it will be qualified with a score of 0 points. The final grade for the course (FG) is calculated considering: 1) Continuos Avaluations (CA) , that contains: • The Lab sessions mark (LS) ) which counts % of the final mark. • The Problem Solving sessions mark (PS) which counts % of the final mark. • The research group task (if it is carried out) which could count % of the final mark. 2) Final Exam (FE) • The grade of the Global Theory Test (PGT) and the Global Problems Test (PGP) will each count % of the final grade. It is mandatory to have a minimum of 5 to be considered in the final grade (NF) and pass the subject. In case of not achieving the minimum grade of 5, this content must be recovered during the evaluation period. The date of the PGT and PGP exams will be defined by the EPS in the normal evaluation period. As mentioned, the PGs are activities that can be recovered within the recovery period defined by the EPS. Final grade (FG) is calculated according to the following procedure: • Final grade (FG) = 30%CA + 35% PGT + 35% PGP During the recovery period the student will be able to recover the recoverable assessment activities as long as they comply with the assessment regulations for undergraduate students of the EPS and the UdG. However, to be able to attend the recovery tests it is mandatory to have a minimum of 2 in the average of PGT and PGP. In this case the recovery exam will follow the same criteria as the PGT and PGP exam. The date of this exam is defined during the recovery period established by the EPS. Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»: The Non Attended (NA) mark will be provided if the student leaves the continuous evaluation before 8th March 2026 and/or do not attend the compulsory evaluation activities. If continuous evaluation is left after this date, students will not have a Non Attended (NA) as a final mark. Avaluació única: Students who wish to take part in the single assessment (Avaluació Única) must request it following the procedure and the calendar set by the EPS for the 2024/25 academic year. The single evaluation will consist of: - A unique exam, articulated in theory and problems, that will cover theoretical and practical aspects treated within the own subject. A minimum of 3.5 from each part must be taken to average. Requisits mínims per aprovar: To pass the subject, a final grade-(FG) of 5.0 must be obtained
Tutoring that cannot be solved during face-to-face classes will be scheduled individually or in groups in a video call session through different media offered by EPS (Meets or others), at the request of the student or group of students
The main communication channel will be moodle (Notices and News section, mainly) and mail for any questions. There will also be video calls when necessary through the channels or media provided by the UdG.
