Tenure-eligible lecturer in the Department of Pedagogy at the University of Girona. Teaching and research area: Social Pedagogy and Social Education, specializing in the design, implementation and evaluation of social and educational policies and practices that promote coexistence, participation and community development, as well as the support for children and youth in vulnerable situations. Lines:
- Analysis, design and evaluation of social and educational proposals.
- Empowerment from the perspective of individuals and communities.
- Leisure and free time as a context for personal and social development.
- Restorative practices in the field of penal execution in the community and juvenile justice.
She started in research in 2015 through a collaborative grant with the Department of Pedagogy of the UdG. This experience allowed her to be part of the HEBE Project team (EDU2013-42979-R/EDU2017-83249-R), a MINECO project on youth empowerment of the State R&D&i Challenges of Society Program. In 2017 she decided to link her doctoral thesis to this project, where she has been until 2021 as a researcher in training. This linkage has allowed her, at the same time, to carry out teaching tasks in the Degree of Social Education of the UdG, and in the Interuniversity Master in Youth and Society. In 2022 he began a postdoctoral stay at the University of Barcelona, where he carried out research and teaching assignments.
She is the author of several articles and book chapters, both nationally and internationally. Some of these works have been published in JCR and SJR journals, and in books listed in the Scholarly Publishers Indicators ranking.
She also has extensive practical experience in socio-educational work as a monitor and director of children's and young people's leisure activities, and as a social educator. She has worked with children, adolescents, and young people, from the field of functional diversity, summer centers, residences, residential centers of educational action, among others.
