AIMS OF THE SUBJECT

The aim of this course is to enhance students’ understanding of the leisure and tourism economy by familiarizing them with the most important concepts and theories within the micro and macro economics discipline as well as by introducing methods to evaluate tourism’s economic significance in time and space. Examples drawn from a wide variety leisure types and environments to enrich students’ competence development in the field.
