Alvis Cabrera Tejera is set to complete his academic training in Automation Engineering during the period 2010-2015. Initially, she gained professional experience as a researcher at the National Center for Applied Electromagnetism, engaging in activities related to magnetic measurements, equipment calibration, and the commissioning of experimental facilities. Concurrently, she developed teaching skills in university education, covering various mathematical disciplines such as linear algebra, analytical geometry, probability, statistics, and numerical mathematics, among others.
In 2019, she completed a master’s degree in Robotics and subsequently, between 2019 and 2023, pursued a doctoral degree in Technology at the University of Girona (UdG).
Currently, she practices in the field of technologies aimed at improving the quality of life in patients with type 1 diabetes within a research group called MiceLab at UdG, where she serves as a researcher. Her approach involves the application of various mathematical branches, applied statistics, handling compositional data, data analysis in environments such as MatLab and R-Studio, artificial intelligence techniques, Power BI, and other programming languages.
Since 2023, she has been collaborating as a substitute professor in the Department of Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, and Statistics, contributing to the academic field with her specialized experience and knowledge.
