1. There are tree PBL Tutorial sessions for to do an introduction of all pathologies in the world of Oral and Craneomaxilofacial Surgery. 2.The student must be able to read and evaluate the most important diagnostic tests in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. 3.The student must acquire knowledge about common pathologies within basic stomatology like anedentulous problems, cavity, rehabilitations of teeth,general implantology and intraoral bone grafts. 4.The student must be able to recognise different emergency grades from ordinary to immediate referral within the affectations in the maxillofacial territory like an absces, respiratory insuficience, bleeding, ATM luxations and emergency trauma. 5. The student must be able to diagnose the different pathologies comprised within the specialty like trauma injuries, oncology, maxilla/ mandibule deformities and oral pathology. 6.The student must recognise the treatment and prognosis of the most common pathologies of this specialty like a quinds of surgery, different approaches and medical treatments. 7.The student must know about the rules of behavior within the operating room and its methodology.

Activitats d'avaluació: Descripció de l'activitat Avaluació de l'activitat % 1. The student must know how to interact in the operating room as well as know how to perform assistant work. 2. The student is expected to regularly participate in the operating room of the department and may directly assist during surgery. 3. The student will be able to learn the basic suture techniques used in our specialty. 4. Clinical seminars and sessions of the department are of mandatory assistance for the student. 5. The student will be required to stay during ward rounds at the station as well as at the outpatient clinic. Examen Test 60€ Evaluació ABP pel tutor 40% 100
1.Another evaluation of the student will be carried out by PBL exam with a Clinical Case that will be the 40% of note and then 20 questions test (the other 20% of note) with four options and only one correct answer. One wrong answer represents 0.25 less of the final exam mark. Passing the exam will be succesful with a 5 and its necessary pass both exams with a 5 for to be approved. 2. Workshops and seminars assistance is mandatory.An unjustified fault can condition the loss of a point in the overall grade of the subject. 3.We’ll done a PBL ejercices and evaluated the sessions. This note will be the 40% of finally note.
