I have been associate professor since 2010 in the Botany area of ??the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of Girona. I belong to the Biodiversity and Marine Resources Research Group (GR MAR) of the Institute of Aquatic Ecology and the consolidated inter-institutional group MedRecover. My expertize line of research is the taxonomy of marine macroalgae which I complement with other related lines such as phylogeny, ecophysiological studies, effects of climate change and management and restoration of the marine environment. I publish in indexed journals of my area of expetize, and I also participate in both national and international competitive projects. In terms of teaching, I teach Biology and Environmental Sciences Degrees.
