I have a PhD in Ecology (University of Barcelona, 2014) and I am currently a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the University of Girona in the Research Group on Continental Aquatic Ecology (GRECO), Institute of Aquatic Ecology (IEA). My research focuses on aquatic biogeochemistry, emphasizing the interconnections between water and organisms of organic matter and nutrient cycles. My interests cover a wide range of topics, including the impacts of global change, microbial processes, metabolism, the dynamics of organic matter and nutrients, as well as isotopes and arctic ecology. I am also interested in issues of academic culture, scientific dissemination, gender equity and ecofeminism. You can find information about my publications in the profile of Google Scholar.
