Anna Amadó Codony holds a PhD in Psychology from the
University of Girona (2014), an Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Educational
Psychology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She is currently an
Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of
Girona, after having worked as a Lecturer at the University of Lleida and as an
Adjunct Professor at the UdG, among other university teaching positions. She
also has professional experience as a psychologist.
Her research focuses primarily on sociocognitive and
emotional development, language, executive functions, diversity, and
educational inclusion, with particular attention to child development and to
different groups and educational contexts. She is a member of the Cognition,
Development and Mental Health Research Group (CDSaM) at the UdG and has
participated in numerous competitive research projects, some of them as
principal investigator.
She has an extensive scientific output, with 36 published
articles, participation in conferences, books and book chapters, as well as
experience in knowledge transfer and in the supervision and evaluation of
research work. In parallel, she has developed extensive teaching experience in
undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and is actively involved in teaching
innovation, particularly through the Problem-Based Learning Teaching Innovation
Network (ICE, UdG).
