Avaluació i qualificació

Activitats d'avaluació:

Descripció de l'activitat Avaluació de l'activitat % Recuperable
Problem Solving (PS) The Problem Solving activity (PS) consist of solving various types of exercises using different forms of learning methodologies in the classroom. There will be compulsory problems to be solved in the classroom, while the outside problems will be developed by the student as homework and could be used to improve the grade of this activity. The behavior is also evaluated. 5 No
Project development (PD) Project development (PD) consist on developing an entire project based on Project-Based-Learning method to apply the theoretical and practical contents of the subject in real cases. It includes several activities, such us design specifications, benchmarking, functional analysis, morphological matrix, detailed design, manufacturing process selection and manufacturing process planning. It is a team working projected in which oral presentation and writing skills also are treated during the course. The behavior and participation are also evaluated. 25
Continuous evaluation activities (CEA) Continuous Evaluation Activities (CEA) consist on evaluating the activities proposed and carried out in class, as well as the attendance in theoretical sessions. The behavior will also be evaluated. 5 No
Final Exam (FE) The final exam (FE) is compulsory and recoverable.

It also consists of two parts:

i) 50% of theory articulated in questions. There will be no form nor calculator.

ii) 50% problem solving, articulated in one or several issues short. With a clean form ( nothing written on it).
It requires a minimum of 3.5 in both the theory and problems to calculate the mean.

The examination review is a done in a classroom with all students together, at a date and time set. Written claims will be required.

This activity accounts represent 60% of the FG.

Qualificació

The activities carried out during the course must be delivered to the teacher within the time established at the beginning of the course. Once this deadline is finished, the delivery of a task will not be accepted and it will be qualified with a score of 0 points.
The final grade for the course (FG) is calculated considering:
• Problem Solving activities (PS) is the 5% of the final mark.
• Continuous Evaluation Activities (CEA) will count 5% of the final mark.
• Project Development (PD) which counts the 25% of the final mark.
• Final exam (FE) will count 65% of the final mark.

It is mandatory to have a minimum of 4 in the Final Exam (FE) to calculate the final grade (FG) and pass the subject. If the minimum grade of 4 in the Final Exam (FE) is not reached, this content must be recovered during the recovering period.

Final grade (FG) is calculated according to the following procedure:
Final grade (FG) = 5% PS+ 5% CEA +25% PD + 65% FE

During the recovery period , the student will be able to recover the recoverable assessment activities as long as they comply with the assessment regulations for EPS and UdG undergraduate students.
The recovery exam will consist of:
• 50% theory, articulated in questions. No form or calculator will be available.
• 50% problems. With form. There is nothing written on it.
A minimum of 3.5 from each part must be taken to average.
The date of this examination is defined during the recovery period established by the EPS.

The Project Development (PD) could be improved and delivered again.

Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:
The Non Attended (NA) mark will be provided if the student leaves the continuous evaluation before 2nd November 2023 and/or do not attend the compulsory evaluation activities. If continuous evaluation is left after this date, students will not have a Non Attended (NA) as a final mark.
However, if the student decides to follow “Avaluacio Unica”, the non-attendance to the exam will imply a Non Attended (NA) as a final mark.

Avaluació única:
Students who wish to take part in the single assessment must request it following the procedure and schedule set by the EPS for the 2023/24 academic year.
The single evaluation will consist of:
- A unique exam, articulated in theory and problems that will cover theoretical and practical aspects treated within the subject itself

Requisits mínims per aprovar:
To pass the subject, a minimum grade to be obtained hove to be equal or higher than 5 points

Tutoria

Tutoria i comunicació:
