Activitats d'avaluació: Descripció de l'activitat Avaluació de l'activitat % CONTINUOUS EVALUATION - Lab Sessions (LS) - Problem Solving (PS) - Project development (PD) Lab Sessions (LS), Problem Solving (PS), Class Activities and Attendance (CA), and Project development (PD) are continuous learning activities, compulsory and recoverable into the class sessions. -The Lab Sessions activity (LS) will be calculated based on two components that are directly added: behavioural mark in the workshop / laboratory and the attendance. - The Problem Solving activity (PS) consist of solving various types of exercises using different forms of learning methodologies in the classroom. There will be compulsory problems to be solved in the classroom, while the outside problems will be developed by the student as homework and could be used to improve the grade of this activity. The behavior will also be evaluated. - Class Activities and Attendance (CA) consist on evaluate the activities carried out in class and the attendance in each session. The behavior will also be evaluated. The combination of Lab Sessions (LS), Problem Solving (PS), Class Activities and Attendance (CA) represents 15% of the final grade (FG) and is obtained by delivering the 80% of the tasks programed in all these parts. It allows to obtain directly 1.5 point over the final marc, but if the 80% is not achieved it will be 0 points. - The project development activity (PD) consist on developing a product project which will include several activities, such us design specifications, benchmarking, functional analysis, morphological matrix, detailed design, manufacturing process selection and manufacturing process planning. The overall grade of this activity represents 35% of the final grade (FG) and is obtained by delivering several tasks during the project and the final project documentation. 40 FINAL EXAM The final exam (FE) is compulsory and no recoverable. It also consists of two parts: i) 50% of theory articulated in questions. There will be no form nor calculator. ii) 50% problem solving., articulated in one or several issues short. With a clean form ( nothing written on it). It requires a minimum of 3.5 in both the theory and problems to calculate the mean. The examination review is a done in a classroom with all students together, at a date and time set. Written claims will be required. This activity accounts represent 60% of the FG. 60
The activities carried out by continuous assessment must be delivered to the teacher within the time established at the beginning of the course. Once this deadline is finished, the delivery of a task will not be accepted and it will be qualified with a score of 0 points. The final grade for the course (FG) is calculated considering: • Lab sessions (LS) ), Problem Solving sessions (PS) and Class Activities and Attendance (CA) ) will count 15% of the final mark. • Project Development (PD) which count 35% of the final mark. • Final exam (FE) will count 60% of the final mark. Final grade (FG) is calculated according to the following procedure: • Final grade (FG) = 15% (LS+PS+CA) +35% PD + 60% FE Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:The Non Attended (NA) mark will be provided if the student leaves the continuous evaluation before 2nd November 2018 and/or do not attend the compulsory evaluation activities. If continuous evaluation is left after this date, students will not have a Non Attended (NA) as a final mark.
