Tony is a physiotherapist with a specialist interest in chronic pain and sports rehabilitation. He trained at Kings College London and worked as a clinical physiotherapist in London, in a variety of musculoskeletal and pain management settings for 10 years before moving to Barcelona. In addition to his teaching at EUSES, he is currently pursuing a PhD on the use of embodiment in virtual reality for musculoskeletal rehabilitation and the treatment of chronic pain under the supervision of Mavi Sanchez-Vives (IDIBAPS and University of Barcelona), and designs and conducts clinical pain studies on healthy and clinical populations.
