To this end, the following activities constitute the most relevant outcomes which are expected to be developed throughout the project life cycle:
- National and transnational analysis about violence against LGBTIQ children in vulnerable context, and mechanism of resilience, especially in the context of Covid-19 situation;
- Workshops to exchange experiences with children addressed to know and evaluate the needs of LGBTIQ children in vulnerable contexts and Covid-19 situation;
- Creation of protocols and a model of evaluation of the programmes and services working with children on how they have addressed the Covid-19 pandemic.
- National and transnational trainings to prevent and combat violence against LGBTIQ children in vulnerable contexts;
- Launch of a MOOC module: Promotional video and enrollment website
- Development of a permanent seminar with local professionals working on childhood
- Awareness-raising and dissemination activities (press releases, media articles, info-day, scientific papers; one position paper; and one final conference).
Through the development of these activities, Colourful Childhoods project expects as a result increased understanding about how to prevent and combat all forms of violence against LGBTIQ children in vulnerable contexts related to the Covid-19 pandemic. For this aim, the child-centred perspective and intersectional approach will be key to increase children’s empowerment, as well as their community resilience.
