Dr. Leila Pujal received her PhD from Queen’s University in Canada under the supervision of Dr. Farnaz Heidar-Zadeh in 2025. During her PhD, she developed and applied chemical descriptors based on constrained Atoms-in-Molecules schemes from the Hirshfeld family for the decomposition of molecular multipole moments, energy and polarizabilities. She joined the Institute of Computational Chemistry and Catalysis (IQCC) as a postdoctoral researcher under the supervision of Dr. Pedro Salvador and Dr. Josep Maria Luis. Her research focuses on software development to study the atomic decomposition of molecular (hyper)polarizabilities. Welcome Leila and good luck!Girona, June 22nd, 2026For more info: ges.iqcc@udg.edu
