Josep received his PhD from Universitat Rovira i Virgili in 2025. He worked in Marcos G. Suero’s group in ICIQ, Tarragona, developing enantioselective carbyne transfer methodologies. He was recognized with the Josep Castells award for the best thesis in chemistry, from RSEQ-STCAT. He joined IQCC as postdoctoral fellow under the BBVA founded project RETICAT under the supervision of Prof. Miquel Costas in collaboration with Prof. Daniel Maspoch in ICN2.
