Estudia

• Reconèixer els elements essencials de la professió mèdica, que incloguin els principis ètics, les responsabilitats legals i l'exercici professional centrat en el pacient
• Desenvolupar la pràctica professional amb respecte pels altres professionals de la salut, adquirint habilitats de treball en equip
• Comunicar-se de manera efectiva i clara, tant oralment com per escrit, amb els pacients, els familiars, els mitjans de comunicació i altres professionals
• Conèixer, valorar críticament i saber utilitzar les fonts d'informació clínica i biomèdica per a obtenir, organitzar, interpretar i comunicar la informació científica i sanitària
• Saber utilitzar les tecnologies de la informació i la comunicació en les activitats clíniques, terapèutiques, preventives i d'investigació

Activitats d'avaluació:

The maximum grade that can be obtained from the evaluations of the suspended activities will be a 5 if the student is considered suitable, regardless of the grade obtained from this evaluation.
This grade will be averaged with the grade that the student has obtained in the other evaluable activities and that he/she has previously passed.

If fraudulent actions are detected in any type of academic activity (use of information without authorization, use of false information, use of unauthorized devices, impersonation, total or partial plagiarism, purchase and sale of tests, practices and assignments, etc) the student body involved will automatically suspend the subject regardless of the disciplinary process that can be followed against the offending student (article 21 of the Regulations governing the evaluation and qualification processes of students, approved by the Consell de Govern in session 11/2019, of December 16, 2019 (eBOU-1751)

Avaluació única:
The unique assessment regulations are established on the basis of the Regulations governing student assessment and qualification processes, approved by the Consell de Govern in session 11/2019, of December 16, 2019 (eBOU-1751), and to the resolution of the Comissió de Govern of the Faculty of Medicine of September 15, 2020

The unique assessment will consist on a PBL exam (PBL exam Part 1 and PBL exam Part 2 at the same day).

Requisits mínims per aprovar:
Per considerar superada l’assignatura, caldrà obtenir una qualificació mínima de 5.0

Mentoring sessions will be performed weekly during the PBL sessions.
The students can also request on-site or virtual one-to-one meetings with their tutor or coordinator. These meetings must be arranged previously by e-mail.

Communication and interaction between professors and students can be performed either one-to-one, via e-mail, Moodle or videoconferences.
