El departament de Filologia i Comunicació de la Universitat de Girona necessita contractar professorat de l’àrea de Lingüística General per cobrir una plaça docent vinculada a perfils d’assignatures que s’imparteixen en els graus en Filologia Catalana, en Filologia Hispànica, en Mestre/-a d’Educació Infantil i en Mestre/-a d’Educació Infantil, i en estudis de postgrau sobre ensenyament de llengua. Les assignatures vinculades a la plaça estan orientades a la diversitat lingüística, l’ensenyament i la integració social.

S’espera que la persona que guanyi la plaça s’incorpori a les activitats i projectes del grup de recerca ‘Llengües, Gramàtica i Discurs’ de la Universitat de Girona. Els objectius de recerca principals del grup són l’estudi de la variació lingüística, de les situacions de contacte de llengües, de la diversitat lingüística i del seu tractament en la societat i la descripció. El grup duu a terme habitualment tasques de transferència de la recerca en àmbits com l’educatiu i el sanitari.

D’acord amb el caràcter formatiu dels estudis esmentats és fonamental tenir un bon nivell de domini del català, que és la llengua en què s’imparteixen majoritàriament les assignatures. Des del punt de vist de la recerca, és important tenir coneixements de diverses llengües, així com de l’anglès, entès com a llengua d’ús habitual en la difusió científica.

The Department of Philology and Communication of the University of Girona needs to recruit teaching staff in the area of General Linguistics to fill a teaching post linked to the profiles of subjects taught on Bachelor degrees in Catalan Philology, Hispanic Philology, Early Childhood Education and Primary School Education, as well as in Master's degrees on language teaching. The subjects related to the position are oriented towards linguistic diversity, language teaching and social integration.

The successful candidate is expected to join the activities and projects of the ‘Languages, Grammar and Discourse’ research group at the University of Girona. The main research interests of the group focus on linguistic variation, on the study of language contact situations, on linguistic diversity, and on its treatment in society and description. The group regularly carries out research transfer tasks in areas such as education and health.

In accordance with the educational nature of these studies, it is essential to have a good command of Catalan, which is the language in which most of the subjects are taught. From a research point of view, it is important to have a knowledge of several languages, as well as English, understood as the language most commonly used in scientific communication.
