In order to validate the subject, you must have at least 5 in all the evaluation sheets provided by the centers where you have worked, at least 5 in all the reports and an overall grade of more than 5. The internships will be evaluated by the supervisor of the center through the evaluation document with the criteria set by the Practicum Team. Attendance is mandatory. In case of being absent for any reason, both the internship center and the Practicum Team must be notified in advance. However, the accumulation of three unjustified absences during the internships means that you fail the subject. The most important thing is to do all the hours requested. Absences, justified or not, during the periods must be recovered through academic volunteering during the academic year. Reports sent out of deadline will have the following penalties: - 2 points: jobs sent up to 1 day after the deadline. - 4 points: jobs submitted up to 7 days after the deadline. 0 points (Not evaluated): the report presented beyond the 7 days of the deadline. The assessment activities are of a single call, therefore, the students who do not pass any of the activities will fail the subject. If a centre decides to stop the internship due to the behaviour of the student, the student will fail the internship period and he/she will not be allowed to finish it in another centre. That situation means that the student will fail the subject of Practicum II. Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:The grade Non-Presented is considered when a student do not present any of the assessment activities.
It is mandatory to attend the practices with the appropriate clothing (uniform). Nor will it be possible to practice with rings, clocks, bracelets, earrings or any element that may cause any detriment related to the comfort and safety of the students during the execution of the different manoeuvres of physiotherapy. It is essential to take care of body hygiene. The student will have to attend the practices with gathered hair, short nails and unpainted, and must follow any internal regulations of the center of practice. The student must have an adequate and respectful attitude towards their supervisor and employees of the assigned internship center. The non-compliance of these sections may entail a disciplinary penalty. Learning outcomes: - Knowing and executing the different evaluation protocols. - Writing a comprehensive patient assessment report. - Treating the patient based on medical history. - Working in a multidisciplinary way together with the personnel of the assigned internship centre.
