Resolution of proposed exercised throughout the course and evaluation of the results and reports. PE = Practical short exercises SE = Simulations and engineering cases FM= 0.4*PE + 0.6*SE For a given category (i.e. PE, SE), the student will have to present individual original reports covering all the contents of the course that will be corrected, marked and returned to the student to improve the assimilation of the different concepts of the course. Students must deliver at least 80% of the proposed PE assignments to achieve the maximum qualification in this part. Otherwise, this part will be qualified with a 0. The qualification of the SE part will be determined as the average of all the SE marks. Evaluation activities cannot be retaken. Plagiarism will be especially prosecuted. Students submitting not original reports or FE models will receive a 0 as global mark for the course. Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:Only those students that do not deliver any of the reports will receive a No Show (NP) mark. Avaluació única:The student will be asked to prepare a project report on the modelling and simulation of a structural part using the Finite Element Method and covering the main aspects of the course. Requisits mínims per aprovar:The minimum mark to pass the course is 5.0 over 10
Students can arrange individual or group tutorships, mainly on-site but on-line will be also possible. There is a special forum in the webpage of the course for posting doubts and questions, so solutions will be shared with everyone. E-mail can be also used to solve questions or doubts and set tutorship appointments.
