Acquire a good knowledge on medical image analysis: image modalities, basic algorithms, programming methodologies at both theoretical and practical levels. CE1 - Understand, develop and implement different medical image analysis algorithms on the topics of image denosing, image segmentation and image registration in both 2D and 3D. CE2 - Be able to quantitatively evaluate algorithms providing clinically and medically relevant measures such as specificity, sensibility or ROC curve analysis. CE3 - Obtain a good knowledge of existing software and libraries for the development of medical image analysis software (ITK, Matlab, MevisLab).
