Description:
- Today's economy is a complex, global system of interconnected financial systems, trade networks and market dynamics. This course explores the interaction between countries, firms and individuals in the formation of economic systems, focusing on topics ranging from macroeconomic indicators such as GDP and inflation to the analysis of international trade policies. Students will acquire an understanding of the reality and complexity of the global economy. They will also gain a critical overview of future developments by studying the relationship between technological advances and geopolitical tensions in world markets.

Grading
Continuous evaluation: one multiple choice test at the end of very 3 units. Each test will have a weight of 15% in the final grade
Activity global week: 5%
Final exam: 50%
The retake exam will allow to compensate all the grades below 5. For instance, if the student has failed 1 test and the final exam with a grade below 5, the retake exam will have a weight of 65% (50% for the final, 15% for the failed test) in the final grade. The final retake grade will be the weighted average between this grade and the grades obtained in the passed tests.
Specific criteria for the "No show" grade:
The student will have "No presentat" if no single test or exam has been handed in.

Final exam: 100%
Minimum requirements to pass:
An average of 5 is required to pass the course.
