His research career began with the study of the evolution of cultural landscapes using a Landscape Ecology approach. He delved into this area of ??research through research stays at centers in the United States (Clark University, 2006), France (Université Paris 7, 2008) and the United Kingdom (Newcastle University, 2009). After a stint as a technician at the Landscape Observatory of Catalonia developing landscape indicators, he resumed his academic activity thanks to two postdoctoral fellowships from the Beatriu de Pinós / EU Marie Sklodowska Curie program. Between 2012 and 2014, at the Melbourne School of Land and Environment at the University of Melbourne (Australia), he researched rural abandonment and natural resource management in the peri-urban areas of Victoria. Between 2014 and 2016 he was part of the Department of Geography at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ??addressing the use of remote sensing methods to study the management of water resources in low-density urban areas of the Mediterranean coast. Between 2017 and 2021 he was an assistant professor at the University of Valencia, where he taught various subjects in the degrees of Geography, Political Science and the Master in Water Resources Management. As associate professor in the Serra Húnter Program, he currently teaches courses related to Tourism, Water and Geographic Information Systems, while his research focuses on adaptation to climate change.
