1. Introduction to Matlab
2. Seminar on selection of materials
3. Interaction Fluid-Structure
4. Scientific comunication
5. Cohesive elements
6. Seminars of invited professors
7. Design of experiments
The evaluable activities correspond to: Simulations; Case Studies; Presentation of Results. In any case, these activities will be described in a document and/or presentation by the student (i.e. assignments).
The course is divided into different seminars of different types, each of them conducted by different professors. The final grade will be calculated by taking the average of all the activities weighted according to the number of hours taught for each seminar. For the evaluable tasks corresponding to the same seminar, the average mark associated with that seminar will be calculated first, and this will then be weighted according to the number of hours given for that seminar.
For academic courses with sessions with invited professors, a short exam (type test) can be accounted in the final mark FM. This activity also will be weighted according to the hours taught.
To pass the course, an overall minimum mark of 5 is needed, and a minimum of 4.0 for each activity.
The use of AI tools is governed by the guidelines set by each seminar instructor, who will communicate the applicable policies at the start of the session.
Important: In any room where an assessment activity takes place, all communication devices (mobile phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, etc.) must be switched off and stored inside backpacks or bags. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a grade of 0 for the activity, as well as the initiation of the actions described in Article 21 of the UdG's regulations governing student assessment and grading processes. If, during the marking process, the lecturer identifies potential academic misconduct, they reserve the right to validate the grade obtained through whatever assessment methodology they deem appropriate.
Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:

The student will be asked to prepare one or variuos project reports on the analysis, modelling and evaluation of results of different Seminar topics covering the main aspects of the course.
