Activitats d'avaluació:

Assessment will take into account the following components:

1.Theoretical examination. This will take place at the end of the course and will account for 60% of the final grade. The examination may be retaken. The resit examination will be held on the official date established by the Faculty. To pass the course, students must obtain a minimum grade of 5 out of 10 in the theoretical examination.

2.Practical assignments. These will be of various kinds, including text commentaries, simulation exercises, reading summaries, group projects, classroom activities, and other practical tasks. A significant proportion of these activities will be carried out during class sessions. The practical assignments will account for 20% of the final grade and are non-recoverable.

3.Class attendance and participation. Students' engagement and participation in the classroom will be assessed and will account for 20% of the final grade. This component is non-recoverable

Students who, at the end of the course, have not completed any assessed activity will be considered as having not submitted (and therefore will not be entitled to take the resit examination).

Avaluació única:
Completion of a single final examination on the official examination date set by the Faculty. Requests for single-assessment evaluation must be submitted through the Academic Secretariat.

Requisits mínims per aprovar:
To pass the course, a minimum grade of 5.0 is required.

Students may arrange tutorials with the lecturers via email.

Communication between students and lecturers will take place primarily in class and, secondarily, via email. Course information will be posted on Moodle; students are expected to read it before making enquiries.

At the beginning of the course, a detailed syllabus will be uploaded to Moodle, together with guidelines on the compulsory and supplementary reading list.

In this course, the use of AI must be limited to formal aspects, such as reviewing the format of bibliographic references or the quality of translations. It must not be used for drafting texts or for information retrieval. Students are required to document the prompts used and the process followed to review and edit the generated output.
