- En aquesta assignatura s'estudiaran desenvolupaments recents en economia aplicada. El contingut s'adaptarà en cada moment als temes de més actualitat que afecten l'economia. Sense ànim d'exhaustivitat, es farà un especial èmfasi en l'estudi de sectors econòmics concrets: sanitat, educació, turisme, etc; i de mercats específics: aigua, innovació, mercat aeri, etc.

Qualificació
The final grade is composed of the result of two exams (60%), and presentations in class (40%). To pass the subject you need a minimum average grade of 5 out of 10.
Those who have not passed the subject by the continuous evaluation system or the single assessment system can take a re-sit exam.
Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:
Not presented if you do not sit the mid-term exam and you do not submit and present the essay.
Avaluació única:
Students who do not wish to participate in the continuous assessment may request the option of taking the single assessment. The application must be made in accordance with the regulations of the UdG and the Faculty of Economics and Business.
The single assessment will be carried out through a single exam during the official exam period at the end of the semester.
Requisits mínims per aprovar:
In order to pass the subject, a minimum grade of 5.0 must be obtained.
Tutoria
The teachers of the subject, via e-mail or videoconference, will give tutorials to students who request it in advance, either individually or in groups.
Comunicació i interacció amb l'estudiantat
The teachers of the subject will communicate with the students of the subject through two channels: the e-mail and the notices and news of the Moodle.
Observacions
References for each topic are going to be detailed in the classroom and are going to be based on academic research and on official reports.

Modificació de les activitats:
Teaching will take place both in person and, if necessary, through Blackboard Collaborate (or any other equivalent tool) during the class hours established by the Faculty.
Modificació de l'avaluació:
The assessments remain the same as those established in the "Assessment and Grading" section. If they cannot be carried out in person, they will be conducted through Moodle.
Tutoria i comunicació:
If tutorials cannot be held in person, they will be conducted via email or through Blackboard Collaborate (or any other equivalent tool).
