Miquel Duran Ros is an associate professor at the Universitat de Girona. Before this position he joined a predoctoral scholarship and he worked as a technician in an irrigation company. He also worked in an agricultural research center. His main research line is on drip irrigation using reclaimed water, but he also collaborates on water management at rice agroecosystems and on gravity fed irrigation automation and control. He has participated in research projects funded by the European Union, the Spanish government, Catalan regional autonomous government and by enterprises and institutions. This involvement has allowed him to co-author various papers published in journals indexed in the SCI and to participate in national and international congresses.
