Associate Professor at the University of Girona, specializes
in tourism economics, quantitative methods, tourism behaviour and sustainable tourism
development. With extensive experience in research and academic management, he
has led European-funded projects such as CampMaster on sustainable camping
resort management. His expertise in statistical modelling, consumer behaviour,
and outdoor hospitality innovation enhances the program’s academic rigor.
His
contributions to data-driven decision-making in tourism strengthen the
program’s research component, bridging academia and industry for innovative
outdoor hospitality solutions.His main expertise is in research methods, survey
methodology in the field of tourism management and consumer/tourist behaviour,
as well as cross-cultural comparison in social sciences. He published more than
seventy academic articles in recognized international journals, and he is
reviewer of several journals.
