I pursued Industrial Engineering at the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeria Industrial of Barcelona (ETSEIB) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in a double degree program with the Institut des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) of Lyon (2010). Later, I completed the Interuniversity Master's Degree in Statistics and Operations Research between the UPC and the UB (2011) together with a postgraduate degree in Lean-Six Sigma improvement programs. I worked for Aigües de Murcia (Agbar) on the analysis and forecasting project of water demand in Murcia (2010), for the Department of Innovation and Businesses of the Generalitat on the analysis of the quality of fairs in Catalonia (2009-2013), and for Continental Corporation on the application of the Six Sigma methodology for reducing defective parts in Surface Mount Device - SMD production lines (2009). I hold a PhD from the University of Girona. My thesis falls within the Doctoral Program in Technology, in the field of Statistics and Data Analysis, specifically in Compositional Data Analysis. I conducted my doctorate with a BR scholarship. My research focuses on adapting control charts (both univariate and multivariate) for monitoring compositional data. More broadly, I work on adapting statistical process control (SPC) techniques to compositional data.
