Germà Coenders Gallart holds a doctorate in Business Administration and Management from the Ramon Llull University (1996), and is full professor of Quantitative Methods for Economics and Business at the Department of Economics at the University of Girona. He regularly teaches at the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences in subjects like statistics, econometrics, research methods, and survey methodology. In this university belongs to the Research Group in Statistics, Econometrics and Health (GRECS) , to the consolidated research group of Generalitat de Catalunya Compositional and Spatial Data Analysis -COSDA- (2021SGR01197), and to the Food and Gastronomy Campus. His area of ??specialization is the analysis of compositional data with applications to marketing, accounting, finance and tourism and with statistical developments such as compositional structural equation models, compositional spatiotemporal models, generalized linear models with explanatory compositions and compositional analysis with a total (he is a founding member and secretary general of the Association for Compositional Data). On this and other topics he has published 6 books and over 70 articles in indexed journals. He has taught subjects related to research methods in various undergraduate, master's and doctoral programmes at the faculties of economics, law, education and tourism of the University of Girona, at ESADE (Ramon Llull University) and at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Ljubljana. .
