Cristina Bermejo Casadesús is a predoctoral researcher in the Targeted Antitumoral Therapies research group, in the Biochemistry and Molecular biology area of ??the Biology department. She graduated in Biomedical Sciences from University of Barcelona (2019) and obtained a master's degree in Clinical Laboratory from Pompeu Fabra University (2020). She subsequently began his doctorate in Molecular biology, Biomedicine and health at the University of Girona under the direction of Dra. Anna Massaguer and Dra. Silvia Barrabés. Her research is established on two lines of antitumoral therapies, targeted therapy, based on the use of recombinant proteins derived from epidermal growth factor, and photodynamic therapy, based on the use of light for metal complexes and nanoparticles activation.
