Graduated in Biomedical Sciences (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2013), with a Master's degree in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnological Industry (Universitat Pompeu Fabra, 2014), and a PhD in Epidemiology (Universitat de Girona, 2019). During her doctoral studies, she completed research stays at the Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGLOBAL), the Cancer Epidemiology Research Programme (PREC) of the Catalan Institute of Oncology, and at the School of Public Health, Imperial College London. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the area of Quantitative Methods for Economics and Business in the Department of Economics at the University of Girona. She is a member of the Research Group in Statistics, Econometrics and Health (GRECS) at the University of Girona, the Biomedical Research Networking Centre in Epidemiology and Public Health (CIBERESP), and the Descriptive, Genetic and Cancer Prevention Epidemiology Group at the Girona Biomedical Research Institute Dr. Josep Trueta (IdIBGi). Her research focuses on environmental epidemiology and social inequalities, and her teaching is related to statistics, quantitative methods and survey methodology. She is currently a member of the Innovation Teaching Network on Gender Perspective and is the Gender and Diversity officer at the Faculty of Tourism.
