Carla Sànchez Guirado (Barcelona, 1988) graduated in Biology at the University of Girona in 2014. In 2017, she completed a Master's in Genetics and Genomics at the University of Barcelona and is currently finishing her doctoral studies at the Cork Laboratory in the Department of Biology at the University of Girona. Before the predoctoral period, she joined as an associate lecturer and laboratory technician in the Department of Biology at the same university. During the predoctoral period, she conducted a research stay at the University of Lausanne (2022). Complementary to her doctoral studies, she is currently a substitute lecturer in the same Department of Biology and a specialized research technician in the Cork Laboratory.
