El Departament de Filosofia està interessat a contractar un Professor Agregat dintre del Programa Serra Húnter (2a convocatòria 2025) en l'àrea de Filosofia Antiga.

Ateses les característiques i necessitats actuals del Departament de Filosofia, el perfil de la plaça seria preferiblement la següent:

·Àmplia experiència docent en Filosofia antiga, contrastada amb evidències de qualitat (dos trams de docència avaluats positivament o evidències de qualitat equivalents).

·Experiència en docència en màsters i postgraus.

·Experiència en planificació i coordinació docent en assignatures amb grups nombrosos.

·Capacitat contrastada per cobrir necessitats docents d'àrees afins, d'acord amb les necessitats del departament.

·Activitat investigadora de l'àmbit de filosofia antiga i capacitat contrastada per dur a terme recerca transversal en altres àmbits de les humanitats.

·Participació en projectes de recerca i projectes de transferència, convenis i contractes amb empreses.

Profile: Ancient Philosophy

The Department of Philosophy is interested in hiring an Associate Professor within the Serra Húnter Programme (2nd call 2025) in the field of Ancient Philosophy.

Given the current characteristics and needs of the Department of Philosophy, the profile for the post would be preferably as follows:

• Extensive teaching experience in Ancient Philosophy, demonstrated by evidence of quality (two teaching periods with a positive evaluation or equivalent evidence of quality).
• Experience teaching on master's and postgraduate courses.
• Experience in teaching planning and coordination for courses with large class sizes.
• A proven ability to cover teaching needs in related areas, in accordance with the department's requirements.
• A research record in the field of ancient philosophy and a proven ability to conduct interdisciplinary research in other areas of the humanities.
• Participation in research projects, knowledge transfer projects, and agreements and contracts with companies.
