The International Conference on Cork Science and Applications will have its 5^th edition –CSA’25– in Lisbon, Portugal, on the 13^th and 14^th of October 2025, continuing the previous successful editions in Port (2014), Aveiro (2017), Palafrugell (2019) and Vila Nova de Gaia (2023)

The conference focus is on cork and cork oak with an integrated and multidisciplinary approach, encompassing production, processing, products and applications. Cork is a natural material that is a reference for sustainability, ecological value and green circular economy, allowing a wide range of applications from the world known wine stoppers to engineering, construction, architecture, design as well as potential uses in cosmetics and health.

CSA’25 will be a forum for researchers, producers and companies to exchange knowledge and new ideas, facilitating collaborations and partnerships towards innovative solutions and products. The program is challenging with oral presentations, exhibition of posters, interviews and roundtables. A study visit will be organized on the 15^th October to see a cork production forest, and industry and a cork exhibition center.
