The Chemical Communications journal features on its front cover of the September 2025 issue the research article “Aromaticity of All-Metal Clusters” by Prof. Miquel Solà in collaboration with Dr. Alvaro Muñoz-Castro group.The first all-metal aromatic cluster, Al42-, face-capped by an M+ cation (M = Li, Na, Cu), was detected in 2001. Since then, several all-metal aromatic clusters have been extensively studied.
