The “International Symposium: Cooperative Learning in University” was held at the University of Girona (UdG) on 9 and 10 May 2019, and was organised by the Teaching Innovation Network on Cooperative Learning of the Institute of Education Sciences ICE Josep Pallach of this university.

The Symposium was coordinated by Dr. Dolors Cañabate, principal investigator of the research group on Education, Heritage and Intermediate Arts (GREPAI: Grup de recerca en Educació, Patrimoni i Arts Intermèdia) of the UdG.

The symposium led to two days of reflection, training and work on cooperative learning in a university and educational context with the experiences of educators and teachers. More than one hundred of researchers, teachers and students participated in this meeting.

Dr. Jordi Colomer and Dr. Teresa Serra, researchers of the group on Environmental Physics, participated in the Symposium. Dr. Colomer was the rapporteur of the event.

The Symposium was supported by the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE), the Faculty of Education and Psychology, the Faculty of Tourism, the Institute of Educational Research, the Girona City Council and the GREPAI research group.
