Students shall develop an integrated group project (3-4 students) which includes project conception, simulation, detailing and reporting. In the integrated project, students are faced with the need of conduct search, applying the knowledge acquired in the remaining units and real case studies presented in seminars and in situ visits. A particular focus is given to integration and coordination, under the watchful eye of the group's teacher. The evaluation consists on the analysis of the written reports and their oral presentation. Evaluation of the different activities with a weighted average of 50% of the maximum score. The use of AI tools is permitted for information search, computer code generation, the preparation of a first draft of documents to be delivered or presented, and the linguistic improvement of texts. However, the student is fully responsible for this, and must understand, validate and be able to justify the proposals used through AI. This justification will be verified through specific questions in oral defenses or similar activities; the inability to adequately defend the presented contents will imply a negative assessment in the evaluation of the activity (with a non-pass of the activity or a penalty of the grade). Regarding the use of AI in writing texts, the student is required to carry out a critical reading of the results, avoiding repetitions and unnecessarily long texts. Requisits mínims per aprovar: To consider the subject as passed, a minimum final grade of 5.0 out of 10.0 must be obtained.
Students will be able to attend individual or group tutorials with the professors of the subject. Email can also be used to resolve doubts and set up tutoring appointments outside of the specified time periods.
Students are recommended to carry out a continuous work on the subject assignments during the specifically allocated times.
