Qualificació

1. Final Mark Calculation
Final Mark = (Attendance and Participation × 0.15) + (Project Development Activities × 0.15) + (Final Group Project × 0.70)
Final Group Project = (Group Written Report × 0.35) + (Group Oral Presentation × 0.20) + (Individual Oral Performance × 0.15)

2. Assessment Details
2.1 Attendance and Participation (15%)
Students are expected to attend classes regularly and actively contribute to discussions, practical exercises, case analyses, and group activities. Assessment will consider attendance, preparedness, engagement with course content, and constructive participation in classroom activities.

2.2 Project Development Activities (15%)
Each session combines lectures with practical workshops and project tutorials. Throughout Sessions 1–4, groups will progressively develop the different components of their final project.
The purpose of this assessment is to encourage continuous progress and application of the concepts introduced in class. Evaluation will be based on completion of assigned tasks, quality of work, and active participation in tutorials and discussions.

2.3 Final Group Project (70%)
The final group project consists of a professional project proposal in the fields of tourism, hospitality, destination management, events, or related sectors.

1) Group Written Report (35%)
The report should present a coherent and feasible project proposal (approximately 4,000–6,000 words, excluding appendices and references). Assessment will consider:
* Project rationale, objectives, and expected outcomes.
* Stakeholder analysis.
* Scope definition and deliverables.
* Schedule and budget.
* Quality and risk management.
* Sustainability considerations.
* Communication and monitoring plans.
* Overall coherence, structure, and writing quality.

2) Group Oral Presentation (20%)
Groups will deliver a professional presentation of approximately 20 minutes followed by a question-and-answer session.
Assessment will consider:
* Clarity and organisation.
* Quality of supporting materials.
* Effectiveness of communication.
* Team coordination.
* Ability to communicate project feasibility and expected impact.

3) Individual Oral Performance (15%)
Individual assessment will be based on:
* Understanding of the project.
* Ability to justify decisions and proposed solutions.
* Responses during the discussion session.
* Communication skills and professionalism.
* Individual contribution to the presentation.

3. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools
Students may use generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot) as learning aids for brainstorming, language support, and editing. However, the use of AI is analogous to assistance from another person. Students remain fully responsible for all submitted work.
The substantial completion of any assessment component by AI is not permitted. In particular, students may not submit AI-generated reports, analyses, presentations, or project plans as their own work.
Students must be able to explain, justify, and defend all aspects of their work during presentations and discussions. Failure to demonstrate sufficient understanding of the submitted work may result in a grade of 0 for the Final Group Project and may be treated as a breach of academic integrity.

Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:
Students who do not deliver the final assignment will be graded as "No Presentat".

Avaluació única:
Students who are eligible for the single assessment system (avaluació única) will be evaluated through the following components:
1) Project Proposal: 30%
2) Oral Presentation of the Project: 30%
3) Written Examination: 40%

The date will be fixed at the beginning of the semester.

To pass the subject under the single assessment system, students must:
1) Obtain a minimum score of 5.0 out of 10 in each assessment component;
2) Achieve a final weighted average of at least 5.0 out of 10.

The final mark will be calculated as follows:
Final Mark = (Project Proposal × 0.30) + (Oral Presentation × 0.30) + (Written Examination × 0.40)

Reassessment (Reavaluació)
Only the written examination is eligible for reassessment. The marks obtained for the project proposal and oral presentation will be retained.

Requisits mínims per aprovar:
To pass the subject, students must:
1) Meet the attendance requirement (attend at least 70% of the scheduled sessions).
2) Complete all assessment activities.
3) Obtain a minimum score of 5.0/10 in the Final Group Project.
4) Achieve a final weighted average of at least 5.0/10.

Failure to meet any of these requirements will result in a FAIL (“SUSPENS”).

Students can contact and ask for personal meetings (tutories) with the teacher via direct email.

During the sessions, all the needed instructions to follow the subject will be given. In addition, there will be an entry on the subject forum on Moodle for further questions.
