1. This course enables students to understand and explain the main conventions and cultural codes in academia, describe and discuss the barriers and facilitators that shape academic environments, and analyze as well as discuss transformative actions aimed at fostering change within academic culture.

The individual tutoring session will be arranged upon the student's request via email with the professor, during which the method and the date/time of the session will be determined.
General communication with students will be conducted through Moodle, and at the individual level, via email.
-This course is recommended during the initial stage of doctoral studies. -AI is permitted but any misuse will be penalized. - It is strictly prohibited to make any type of recording, photograph, or audiovisual capture of teaching activities, unless explicitly authorized by the involved teaching staff. -During teaching activities, the use of mobile phones and similar devices for personal matters is prohibited. During assessment activities, in addition, mobile phones must be out of students’ reach and either silenced or turned off. Exceptionally, their use may be authorized by the teaching staff when deemed appropriate.
