Important: To qualify for the final grade average, students must meet a minimum score requirement on the multiple-choice section of the final exam. IN-CLASS EXERCISES & ESSAY: 40 points (20 points each) FINAL EXAM: Multiple-choice questions (40 points; negative marking applies). Open-ended questions (20 points). TOTAL: 60 points Students who score at least 50 points on the combined results of the final exam and the exercises/essay are exempt from taking the BCE. BASIC COMPETENCIES EXAM: Students who fail the course may take an open-ended "basic competencies exam." This exam covers ALL course content and will worth 100% of the final grade. Specific criteria for the "No show" grade: Students will be considered as NOT PRESENTED if they do not attend the continuous evaluation or the BCE. Single Assessment: The primary assessment method at EUSES -center attached to the UdG- is continuous evaluation. Students who prefer a single comprehensive assessment must submit their UEP (Unique Evaluation Pathway) request to coordination@euses.cat and to acabane@euses.cat within the first two weeks of the semester. Minimum requirements to pass: A minimum grade of 5.0 out of 10 in the continuous evaluation or the BCE.
