Grading

A minimum of 600 internship hours must be completed in order to pass the subject.

Internships will be assessed by the center's tutor through the EUSES evaluation documents. The criteria established by the EUSES practicum team, consists of 2 parts:

1. Attitude and behaviour assessment at the practicum center.
2. Competencies and aptitudes assessment in physical therapy.

The student must have, at least, a 5/10 in each of the two parts of the assessment criteria to pass the internship period. In addition, the student must have, at least, a 5 in the evaluations of all his/her internship centers to pass the subject.

Attendance to the internship center is mandatory. In the case of not attending the internship center for any reason, both the center and the EUSES practicum team must be notified in advance. The accumulation of three unjustified absences to the internship center, will automatically suppose the failure of the subject.
Completing the minimum internship hours described on the subject design, is essential. Absences, justified or not, made during the periods must be recovered at the end of the internships, and/or during the academic year.

The Reports are written projects that are delivered through moodle. You must have, at least, a mark of 5/10 as the average of the two projects to pass the subject:

- Internship Report: 40% of the "reports" total mark.
- Clinical Report: 60% of the "reports" total mark.

Reports (written projects) sent beyond the deadline will have the following penalization:

- 1 points: projects submitted up to 1 day after the deadline.
- 2 points: projects submitted up to 3 days after the deadline.
- 4 points: projects submitted more than 3 days after the deadline.

The evaluable content (assessment activities) are of a single call, meaning that, the students who do not pass any of the assessment activities will fail the subject without the possibility of a compensatory, or BCE activity.

If an internship centre invites the student to stop attending the internship due to his/her behaviour, the student will automatically fail the internship period and he/she will not be allowed to complete the remaining hours in another centre. This means that the student will fail the Practicum II subject.
