Avaluació i qualificació

Activitats d'avaluació:

Descripció de l'activitat Avaluació de l'activitat % Recuperable
- Theoretical classes where teacher explain the necessary procedures and criteria, using audio-visual material to establish the conditions of how and when to apply the neurological physiotherapy procedures.
- Workshops where students will have the opportunity to practice specific procedures for neurology patients and different neurorehabilitation interventions in order to consolidate the theoretical knowledge transmitted during the theoretical lectures. Different teaching resources and proposals based on the most current literature will be offered to the students, offering an open learning process for this subject. Students must be properly dressed for the workshops (shorts and t-shirt).
Practical activities: consist of guided learning activities specifically designed to improve and facilitate the knowledge and performance of the neurological physical therapy procedures. The subject methodology offers a continuous follow-up process of the acquired knowledge and the attendance to the classes.

Qualificació

1st CALL:

1. CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT (CA):
The Continuos assessment is regarded as a process to provide evidence of the level of learning achieved by the student. It consists of:

- Practical Activities (PA): Resolution of 8 mandatory practical activities related to each lesson and available in Moodle platform. Failure to submit any of the mandatory PA will be a Non Presented (NP) and must be retaken by an Extra Global Activity (EGA)(25%).

- Partial Exam (PE): Theoretical contents will be evaluated through 1 objective evaluation test exams of 40 questions (25%).

The dates of the PE, PA and EGA will be set at the subject calendar at the beginning of the course.

2. FINAL EXAM (FE): Objective test exam of 60 questions including the whole contents of the subject (50%)

Final mark 1st Call: 50% CA (25% PA + 25% PE) + 50% FE

To pass the Neurological Physical Therapy (NPT) subject, the student must obtain a minimum of 5,0 in the FE. If the student hasn't overcomed the FE should present to the 2nd call Basic Competences Exam (BCE).

2nd CALL (BASIC COMPETENCES EXAM):

The Basic Competences Exam will consist of an objective test including theoretical contents, practical activities contents and workshops contents. The maximum mark that a student can obtain in this second call is 5.0 points.

Criteris específics de la nota «No Presentat»:
It will be considered Non-Presented, a sudent who don't present at the CA (due to the PA or PE) or at the FE.

The student will have to recover the parts that have been Not Presented in the first call, by the BCE or by the EGA.

The maximum mark that a student can obtain in this 2nd call is 5.0 points.

Avaluació única:
The evaluation system of EUSES - a center attached to the UdG is, in general, continuous assessment. If the student wants to take the Unique Evaluation (UE), he/she must communicate it in writing to the professor responsible for the subject and to the degree coordinator during the first two weeks of the semester.

The Unique UE modality will include 3 different assessments in a UNIQUE EXAM:

- Objective evaluation test of 60 question including the whole theoretical contents and the practical activities (PA) contents (33%).

- Case report including the contents of the workshops and practical activities (33%).

- Face to face: oral exam of one question including any of the content (33%).

To pass the Unique Evaluation the student must obtain a threshold of 5,0 as a mark in the objective evaluation test.

Requisits mínims per aprovar:
To pass the subject, a minimum grade of 5.0 must be obtained

Tutoria

The tutorials will be carried out in person in the enabled classrooms and also in virtual meetings.

They must make the request in writing one week in advance.

Comunicacio i interacció amb l'estudiantat

Communication and interaction with students will take place in person and virtually by moodle alerts and news forum, video conferencing and
Moodle email.

Modificació del disseny

Modificació de les activitats:
Scenario I. In-person classes:
The theoretical presentation of contents and the analysis and case studies will be developed in-person in the classrooms enabled in EUSES Campus.

Scenario II and III: Partially In-person:
The classe will be conducted with a group of students in person in the classroom (number determined according to the capacity of the classroom and the building) and another group virtually and synchronously. These groups will have to rotate each week to ensure that attendance for that subject do not imply differences in the presence of each group.

Scenario IV. Confinement: the theoretical exposition of contents and the analysis and case studies will develop through virtual classes and Moodle.
