- Aquesta assignatura ensenya els fonaments de l'avaluació i el tractament de l'espina utilitzant l'enfocament de Maitland per a la mobilització. Aquest assumpte introdueix un raonament crític pel que fa a l'avaluació musculoesquelètica espinal estàndard, i pel que fa al disseny d'un pla d'actuació de fisioteràpia. L'objectiu és que els alumnes acabin aquesta assignatura amb una base sòlida d'avaluació de la medul·la espinal, indicacions / contraindicacions per a la teràpia manual espinal i opcions de tractament.

- Executar, dirigir i coordinar el pla d'intervenció de Fisioteràpia, utilitzant les eines terapèutiques pròpies i atenent a la individualitat de l'usuari.

Qualificació
A minimum grade of 5.0 (50%) will be required to pass the subject.
Nonattendance: Class attendance is compulsory.
Students must attend 80% of the practical class time both live and virtually.
Exceptions will only be made for those students who can certify having been hospitalized on the given day, or due to a relative passing away.
Failure to comply with 80% practical class attendance will require students to sit the Basic Competencies Exam (BCE).
Note: Late arrivals and early leavers will be documented, and count towards attendance.
Students are required to pass both the theory and practical exams with a minimum of 50% in each exam.
If a student fails either the practical or theory exam, they will be required to attend BCE for that component and will receive a maximum grade of 5.0 overall.
Please note that students opting to take the special evaluation must notify their decision to the lecturer during the first two weeks of the semester.

Students not having attended neither practical lectures nor the final exam will be considered as "No Presentado".
Avaluació única:
The evaluation system in EUSES - UdG is based, in general, in the continuous assessment. If the student wishes to take part in the unique pathway, he/she will need to request it in writing to the lecturer of the subject and the degree coordinator during the first two weeks of the Semester.
For the Unique evaluation students - both theory and practical exams will take place during final exam week 2022.
Students are required to pass both the theory and practical exams with a minimum of 50% in each exam.

The lecturer will be available for mentoring upon previous request by email.

Communication and interaction with the students will be done in person and virtually throughout the forum of Moodle, video-conferencing means and email.
Observacions
Neither rings nor bracelets are allowed during classes or exams. Students must wear their student uniforms during exams.
Learning outcomes:
- Understanding and performing specific methods and techniques related to the locomotor system (including manual therapies, joint manipulative therapies, osteopathy and chiropractic) and to alterations of statics and dynamics.
- Knowing specific methods and techniques that take into account the implications of reflex therapeutic techniques, as well as other alternative and/or complementary methods and techniques.
- Knowing and applying the guidelines for good clinical practice.

In the event of Scenario 1, all classes will take place in person, with all students present.
In the event of Scenario 4, both theory and practical classes will be conducted live via Zoom.

Tutoria i comunicació:
It is essential to make an appointment in advance via email. The tutorials may be carried out in person in enabled classrooms (for Scenarios 1,2 and 3), and also virtually.
Communication/contact:
Scenario 1. In person: the tutorials will be carried out in person in enabled classrooms. Communication and interaction with the students will be in person, and the Moodle forum and email will be used in addition.
Scenario 4. Confinement: Tutorials will be virtually conducted. Communication and interaction with the students will take place virtually, through the forum of Moodle, video-conferencing means and email.
