Mastering the knowledge of the subject. Ability to contemplate and reflect on the artistic object and the creative act. Students must demonstrate critical thinking skills when facing the image, whether it is of an artistic nature or not.
Below are the criteria to be taken into account in written assignments:
Excellent (9-10): The work is correctly presented and formulated. It contains no spelling or grammatical errors. It is well-organized and visually polished, making good use of the bibliography and following the APA guidelines correctly. The student demonstrates their learning in an original and creative way, relating their personal experience inside and outside the classroom, providing sufficient evidence of their pedagogical and research journey, and positioning themselves critically and reflectively on the topics and issues discussed in the classroom.
Very Good (7-8.9): The work is well-written and formulated. It shows the acquisition of the course competencies. The ideas and structure are well-organized, but it lacks critical and reflective positioning, scientific rigor, and academic style.
Pass (5-6.9): The work demonstrates progress and the student's basic competencies, but does not reach the quality required and trained for during the course.
Fail (0-4.9): The work does not meet the minimum standards and requirements of an academic paper.
Specific criteria for the "No show" grade:
Only in the event that the exercise is not presented due to major justified reasons (accident, illness...). Lack of justification implies a 0.
Single Assessment:
Due to the characteristics of this subject, the single assessment option is not considered. The knowledge, learning strategies and skills that this subject conveys involve a continuous work of maturation in which, in a progressive manner, the students get feedback on the various achievements thanks to the continuous evaluation. The various assessment tasks that are contemplated are designed from a progression in their complexity so that students consolidate and reinforce the learning and skills to be achieved.
In case of force majeure (health emergency or similar) the teaching and evaluation of this subject may be done online.
Minimum requirements to pass:
To consider the subject passed, a minimum grade of 5.0 must be obtained
Minimum attendance of 80% in classes.
